Open Minds Book Discussion with Host Glenn North

Join us for an evening of discussion with Glenn North centered on Angela Davis: An Autobiography. Please note that the book's author, Angela Davis, will not be in attendance.

Angela Davis: An Autobiography is a powerful firsthand account of Angela Davis’s journey as a scholar, activist, and political prisoner, tracing her fight against racism, mass incarceration, state violence, and the criminalization of Black resistance in America. In today’s political climate, the book remains essential reading because it challenges us to examine how systems of power operate and what courage, solidarity, and political consciousness can look like in times of social unrest.
